Diffusion and Electric Field in the Cellular Membrane: Construction of the Functional Didactic Models

Intends the construction of some simple devices that can be used in the investigation of the ions flow through a membrane exploring the influence of the phenomena of the diffusion and of the electric field. This functional model allows to simulate and to visualize electrochemical processes that happen in the cellular membrane and to explore, by means of suggested activities, the main elements and variables involved. The aims of these activities are promote a larger interaction with the theory, as well as, to contribute for a better understanding of the passive and active transports.
