Contêm informações sobre a biologia dos parasitos, imagens, métodos coprológicos (exames de fezes) e simulação de casos clínicos. Esse software é a segunda versão do software “Guia prático e teórico de parasitas intestinais humanos”.

Este trabalho visou o desenvolvimento de um guia prático e teórico de parasitas intestinais humanos. O Software conta com informações sobre os parasitas intestinais, métodos de analises de fezes, casos clínicos e biblioteca de imagens.

75 cm. Aquatic with narrow beak curved in the tip. The feet are webbed. The body is black and sometimes the throat is yellow. In the breeding season the male has some white feathers in the throat and ear region. The immature is fuliginous. Distribution: From Mexico to Southern South America Habitat: Lives in lakes, swamps and estuaries. Diet: Feeds on fish, even spiny ones. The gastric acids dissolve the spines. Reproduction: The nest is built on tall trees near lakes, sometimes mixing with heron flocks. Natural history: It is an excellent diver. 12 cm. Small, the legs, beak and neck are short. The back is blue and the belly white. Male and female are similar. The immature individuals are brown in the upper parts and buffy in the inferior parts. Distribution: From Costa Rica to Southern Brazil. In the Amazon region it is only seen during seasonal migrations. Habitat: Farms, villlages, cities and open areas in general. Uses rocky places and roofs to rest. Diet: Feeds on flying insects.
